About Amy

I have worked with children, babies & their families in a variety of settings for over 20 years. I gained a Cache Diploma in Childcare & Education in 2005 and worked as a Sure Start Early Years Coordinator until having my first child in 2007.

I started specialising in neonatal care in 2010 after having my second baby. I studied breastfeeding support with the Breastfeeding Network and began supporting local Mums on a voluntary basis. I also volunteered with the charity Birth Companions, supporting vulnerable women before, during and after childbirth.

In 2012 I began working at the Whittington Hospital as a Maternity Nursery Nurse. In this role I supported parents caring for their new babies on the postnatal ward. This included working with babies who were pre-term, low birth weight, having feeding difficulties, at risk of becoming unwell and those who were receiving treatment but well enough to stay with their mother.

I studied ‘Care of the Neonate’ at Middlesex University in 2013. In 2015 I began working privately as a Maternity Nurse, specialising in supporting breastfeeding, weaning and sleep training. I am a certified Baby Massage Teacher, and hold up to date certificates in Paediatric First Aid and Child Protection. I also have a checkable DBS certificate. I live in North London with my partner and our three children Gracie, Marley & Roman.

Please get in touch and we can discuss how I can support you and your family.
